This was purchased in an effort to encourage my 5 yr. old son's fine motor skills. He loves watercolor painting.... so I thought using the pencils would follow. It didn't. You have to really press hard with the pencils to get enough color for the water brush to work well. I think in time it will resurface again when he has better hand control.
