Very Frustrating Project - K. Rinderspacher - Michigan
My parents gave this kit to our 3 year old for his birthday a few weeks ago.
He, his 4 year old brother and I sat down to build these cars & it was a frustrating experience!

The cardboard pieces don't fit together easily. No way my 3 year old could have done it himself even though the box says 3+. The instructions were very vague about how everything attaches. (I know that it's supposed to spark creativity, but my older son wanted to follow the pictures and do it "right".) Also, the glue stick provided wasn't strong enough glue to hold any of the cardboard "decorations" to the cars. My kids ended up giving up before the race car was even finished.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars for educational is the fact that my kids were able to follow the directions that were there to see where the stickers and decorations went. Otherwise, save your money and make cars out of your recycled containers and other things you have around your home.
